Lohikäärmeet - Dragons

Sain ystävältäni kaapinperkajaisten yhteydessä pienen lohikäärmepatsaan. Hahmo on valmistettu ilmeisesti hartsista:

My friend gave me a small dragon-figurine during her cabinet-cleansing. The figurine is apparently made of resin of some sort:

Pikkukiviä-Tiny stones

Ja täällä taas :) Sain tilaajalahjaksi nettikaupasta pieniä korukiviä, ja ajattelin heti nukkekotia:

And back again :) I got myself a freebie from one webstore, and toughed of my dollhouse right away:

Kivet vasemmalta vihreästä myötäpäivään: Aventuriini, Jaspispreksia, Karneoli, Lumikvartsi, Ruskea akaatti ja Ametisti. Ajattelin näiden sopivan Veralle, ja tein jopa pienen hyllyviritelmän hänelle:

Stones from the green one to clockwise: Aventurine, Breccia-Jasper, Carneol, Milk Quartz, Brown agate and Amethyst. I toughed Vera would fancy these, and I even made her a tiny shelf for the stones:

Hylly kyhätty nopeasti pahvista. Tältä lopputulos näyttää:

The shelf is made of cardboard, once again. This is how it is all done:

Taas avaimia-Keys again

Aikaisemmasta avainkaappi-askartelusta ylijääneistä avaimista syntyi vielä tällaisia:

Tuunasin avaimia sivuleikkureilla ja maaleilla. Avainrenkaat ovat vanhan rannekorun osia.

I tuned up these with some wire-cutters and paints. Keyrings are parts of an old bracelet.

Lisää tekstiilejä-More Textiles

Joo, tein ompelukokeiluja jämäpaloilla, joissa oli pienikuvioisia yksityiskohtia. Tällaisia siis syntyi tällä kertaa:

Right, I made some sewing-tests with left-over clippings that had some small-patterned details on. This is how they appeared like:

Näyttävät matoilta tai ryijyiltä? Liian paksuja pöytäliinoiksi. Tuosta pienestä teen varmaan pöytäliinan mummille, muista en tiedä. Värit eivät oikein miellytä, eli menevät varmaan seuraavaan värjäyserään :)

They look like carpets or rugs? Too thick to be table--cloths. Even I toughed I'd make a table-cloth for granny of that little piece, I'm not sure what to with the rest. Those colors are kinda lame, so I think I'll put them in a dye-laundry the next time :)

Maanantai Moi! -Monday Hi!

Eli täällä taas, tulikin pidempi tauko väliin, hups.. Vietin eilispäivän ompelukoneen ääressä, ja ompelun lomassa syntyi jotain uutta taas nukkikseenkin:

Right, I'm back after a longer break, oops.. I spend yesterday by sewing, and there I made something for the dollhouse again, too:

Jämäpaloista syntyi pari peitettä. Pieni kisupeitto, ja vähän isompi täkki.
Kangas alkaa näyttää jo ikävästi tutulta, eikö ;D

Of left-over clippings I made a couple of blankets. A smaller kitty-blanket and a bigger quilt.
The fabric starts to seem oddly familiar, doesn't it ;D

Taustapuolelle tikkasin lisää jämäpaloja.. En tiedä vielä mihin laittaa nämä, mutta kai näille paikka löytyy :)

I stitched some more left-overs on the back.. I'm not sure where toput these yet, but I'm sure they found their place, too :)

Helmikuista vihreää-February green

Aikaisemmin esittelemäni oksanpätkät saivat vähän lehtiä ylleen, ja melkein tämä jo muistuttaa pientä hedelmäpuuta:

The twigs I introduced earlier got some leaves on them, and now it allmost appears as a small fruit-tree:

Tämä on siis vielä keskeneräinen, tuota juuripalaa pitää vielä tuunata enemmän maan näköiseksi. Kivi tuossa on siis toistaiseksi vastapainona.
Tästä voisi tulla kiva omena- tai sitruunapuu :)

This is not all doneyet, I need to fixt the root-part to make it look more.. groundish (is that even a word?). The stone there is just a weight for now.
I think this would make a nice apple- or lemontree :)

Kynänteroitin-A pencil sharpener

Nukkisrintamalla on ollut nyt vähän hiljaisempaa, mutta kirpputorikierrokselta löytyi jälleen jotain:

Pienen gramofonin :)

It's a little gramophone :)

Esine on oikeasti kynänteroitin, vasemmalla sivulla on kolo kynälle, joka teroitetaan kääntämällä kampea. Levylautanen pyörii samalla.

This figurine is actually a pencil sharpener, there's a hole on the left side to put the pencil in. By reeling the crank the pencil sharpens and the disk spins around.

Kaiutintorvi ei valitettavasti ole liikkuvaa sorttia, mutta minusta tämä oli hieno löytö :)
Maalasin jo vähän metalliosia mustalla maalilla.

The "speaker" does'nt move, too bad, but I think this looks nice :)
I allready painted the metal-parts withs some black paint.

Aloe Vera

Edelleen vaan kasvihuone vaivaa mieltä.. Tällä kertaa askartelin Lupescuille Aaloen:

Still the greenhouse hounts me.. This time I crafted Aloe-plant for the Lupescus:

Ruukku jälleen hoitoainepullon korkki, ja kasvi itse Cernit-massaa. Multa on, no.. -kukkamultaa :)

Once again the flower-pot is a hair-balsam bottle-cap, and the plant itself is made of Cernit polymere-clay. The soil is, well.. -soil :)

Aaloe kasvihuoneessa. Kuva on otettu illalla, kasvihuoneen värimaailma näyttää oudolta o__O

Aloe in a greenhouse. Picture is takenby night, that's why the greenhouse-coloring looks a bit weird o__O

Joopa.. Mennyt viikko hujahti sitten yllätysnopeasti ja juhlatunnelmissa. Unohdin siinä sivussa postailla tänne mitään, joten poikkeuksellisesti laitan tänne viikonloppupostauksen :)

Yep.. This week went surprisingly fast and feeling festive. I even forget to post anything on this blog, so exeptionally I'll post on weekend now :)
So here's the reason why I didn't post on the week passed:

Elikkä: Teidän Site Admin Wednesday täytti siis taas vuosia, ja otin huvikseni kaakusta pari kuvaa.
Innostuin leipomaan, ja lähti vähän käpälästä taas, tuli kolmekerroksinen kakku o__O
Kakussa on karhunvatukka-banaani tuorejuustotäyte.

So: Yours truly; Site Admin Wednesday had a birthday once again, and so I took some photos of the cake.
I got all exited on baking again, and got off tracks too, so I made tree layerd cake o__O
Cake has a blackberry-banana cream-cheese filling.

Koristeet tein sokerimassasta, ja esittävät ruusuja. Niistä oli vaikea saada tarkkaa kuvaa..

These decorations I made of sugar-dough, and they are supposed to be roses. They were really difficult to photograph clearly..

Pienet kakunkoristehelmet löytyivät lähikaupasta. Nam nam..
Ensi viikolla taas arkisempia asioita ;)

I found the tiny cake-decoration beads from the grocery-store. Yum yum..

Perjantaipäätöksiä-Decisions on Friday

Olen miettinyt paljon blogini ja sen edistymistä. Myönnetään, että lähes kaikki isot ja pienet detaljit olen esitellyt, ja lukijani tuntevat Lupescun talon jo läpikotaisin.
Mitä esiteltävää jää siis enää jäljelle?
-Sekalaisia projekteja, nukkisaskarteluja ja perheenjäsenten arkipuuhia o__O
Site Admin törmää todellisuuteen, ja tunnustaa että kaikki tarpeellinen on jo postattu;
En minäkään ihan joka päivä askartele, ja oletettavasti suhteeni perheenjäseniin saattaisi kärsiä pientä luottamuspulaa jo alkaisin vakoilla heitä joka päivä ;)

Tein siis päätöksen: Blogini päivitys muuttuu vuorokausitahdista rennommaksi, ja satunnaisemmaksi. En siis katoa minnekään, ajattelin vaan saada jutuilleni enemmän ajatusta ja syvyyttä. Yritän silti edes kerran viikossa laittaa tänne jotain uutta.
..ja mistäs sen sitäpaitsi tietää, ehkä perhe innostuu askaroimaan enemmän yhdessä nyt kun en kiusaa heitä päivittäin ;D

Ai niin: Kommentoi vapaasti tätä postausta, mikäli vaikka haluat tietää jotain erityistä Lupescuista, postausideoita otetaan vastaan :)

I've given a lot of thoughs for my blog and it's progress. I admit, that I've allready introduced all the big things and tinyer details, and all my readers allready know every inch of the Lupescu house.
So what's left to introduce anymore?
-Miscellaneous projects, dollhouse-crafting and the everyday chores of the family o__O
Well, Site Admin bumps on the reality and admits that everything important is allready been posted; Even I don't craft every day, and I believe that the common trust between the family members and me might just get some frostbites if I started to spy on them every single day ;)

So I made up my mind: My blog's everyday-update will stop, and I'll start somewhat of a random posting. I'm not going away, no worries there, it's just that I'm looking for some more depth and soul for the postings.
Still, I'll try to post you guys something at least once a week.
..besides, who knows, maybe the family starts to take more interests now that I'm off their back ;D

By the way: Be free to comment this post if there's something about the Lupescu's you'd like me to make a posting of :)

Sabinen Kampauspöytä #2- Sabine's Dresser #2

Kampauspöytäpostaus jatkuu, tänään siis kaapit ja laatikot. Vasemmanpuoleinen laatikko sisältää pienen parfyymipullon, paperinenäliinoja, kirjekuoria, meikkisieniä, kynän, pari Halloween-postikorttia, ja Pertin kihlasormuksen.

The dresser-posting continues, today we'll look in to the drawers and cabinets. The drawer on the left includes a tiny perfume-bottle, tissues, anvelopes, some make-up sponges, pencil, a couple of Halloween-postcards and Pertti's engagement-ring.

Laatikko lienee sormukselle turvallisin paikka.. Oikean puoleisessa laatikossa on koruja, lehti, hiuspanta, narua ja pikkutavaraa:

I guess the drawer is the safest place for the ring.. The right drawer includes some jewellery, a magazine, headband, some string and small items:

Vasemmassa kaapissa on jotain Sabinen kirjoja ja namipussi:

In a left cabinet there's some of Sabine's books and a bag of sweets:

Oikeanpuoleisessa kaapissa on naistenlehtiä, kosmetiikkaa ja Pertin yöpala.

In a right cabinet there's some magazines, cosmetics, and a midnight snack for Pertti.

As an extra detail I'll introduce you this cascet of rings, that lies on the dresser. It has three rings inside:

Rasian valmistin korunosista (hopeaa), sormukset stopparihelmiä ja helmiä. Kolmannesta sormuksesta olenkin jo tehnyt postauksen..

I made the box of jewellery-parts (silver), and the rings are stopper-beads and beads. I've already made a post of the third ring..

Sabinen Kampauspöytä-Sabine's Dresser

Niin, tästä taisikin olla puhetta.. Evanin kirjahyllyn ja Mummin kaapin jälkeen siis lisää Lupescujen henkilökohtaisuuksia:

Sabinen kampauspöytä löytyi aikoinaan HobbyPointista, ja on ensimmäisiä nukkekotiin ostamiani huonekaluja. Pöytään kuului myös pieni istuin, joka tällä hetkellä on ompeluhuoneessa tuolina.

Sabine's dresser was found from the HobbyPoint-store, and it was one of the first furniture I boughed for the house. There was also a little stool that came with the table, but it's in the sewing-room for now.

Joitakin detaljeja.. Pullot ja purnukat olen tehnyt itse helmistä, mutta ne esittelin jo aiemmissa postauksissa.

Some details.. All the perfume bottles etc. I made myself of beads, but I've allready introduced them earlier.

"Parane pian" -kortti kuuluu itseasiassa Pertille.

"Get well soon" -card is actually Pertti's.

Paljon tuttuja juttuja vanhoista postauksista. Kampauspöydästä tuli otettua aika paljon kuvia, joten esittelen loput vasta huomenna ;)

A lot's of familiar things from older posts. I took a lot of photos of the dresser, so I'll introduce the rest tomorrow ;)

Puunhalaaja-Treehugger

Voi äly.. olisi muutakin nukkis-ajateltavaa, mutta syntyy taas pelkkää puutarhajuttua..

Oh darn.. I really have some other dollhouse-things to do, but all I can come up with is these garden things..

Vanhat bonsai-oksat toivat mieleeni puunrungot, joten ajattelin kokeilla saisiko näistä mitään aikaan.

These old bonsai-branches looked like tree-trunks to me, so I toughed I'd try if I could make something out of these.

Lähikuvaa lehvästötestailusta. Lehtiniput vanhasta muovikasvista. Myöhemmin nähdään, mitä tästäkin tulee :l

Some close-up of the leaf-testing. I used some old plastic-plant here. We'll see later how this turns out to be :l

Kot-kot-kot

Kun nyt näihin lannoitteisiin päästiin, sivuaskarteluna syntyi perhepakkaus suomalaisen puutarhanhoidon aatelia; kanankakkaa Lupescujen kukille:

Since I made those fertilizer-bottles, as a side-crafting I made a family-pack of class-A fertilizer of finnish garden-care; chicken-poop for the Lupescu's plants:

Kanankakka-lannoite valmistui suklaaströsselistä ja kaakaojauheesta. Pussi on pieni korupussi, etiketti jostain mainoksesta.

I made the fertilizer-poop of chocolate-sprinkles and cocoa-powder. Baggie is a tiny jewellery-pack, and the label I cut off from some brochure.

Eilisen puuboksin johdosta värkkäilin jotain puutarhajuttuja nukkikseen:

All sorts of plant-nutritions and -fertilizers in a bottle :)

Etiketit ovat tulosteita. Sisällöt löytyivät jälleen kyökin puolelta.. Ensimmäisessä valkeita nonparelleja, toisessa aromisuolaa ja suolaa, kolmennessa vihreitä nonparelleja ja viimeisessä viismaustetta.

Labels are all prints. Whatäs inseide of these I found from the kitchen, once again.. Inside of the first bottle there's some white nonpareils, inside of the second there's monosodium glutamate and table salt, inside the third, green nonpareils, and inside of the last one, some fivespice.

Kivalta näyttää :)

Outo boksi-Weird box

Jäätelötikuista ja puulusikoista syntyi tällainen mikälie-askartelu:

Maalasin komeuden pienoismallimaaleilla ja liimasin pintaan tulosteita.

I painted this thing with some scale-model paints and glued some prints on.

Ei hajuakaan mikä tämä voisi olla, muistuttaa jotain säilytys, tai esittelylaatikkoa?

I have no clue what this thing might ne, it resembles like a container or a show-case box?

Kokeeksi laitoin pari pulloa sisään.. ehkä niistä voisi tehdä jotain kasviravinteita?

As a test I placed a couple of bottles inside..maybe I could make them some plant-nutrition bottles?

Hidasta - Slow

Kirpparikierroksella bongasin tällaisen pikkuisen:

At the flea-market I spotted this little-guy:

Pieni, ilmeisesti valettu etanahahmo. Ihastuin välittömästi, ja sainkin otuksen murokupin mukaan kaupan päälle :)

A small, apparently casted snail-figurine. I fell in love with this immediately and got it with a serial-bowl as a freebie :)
Hahmo on todella yksityiskohtaisen tarkka, mutta niin pieni että oli vaikeaa saada otettua tarkkoja kuvia.
The figurine is very well detailed, but also so very tiny it was really difficult for me to get any sharp photos.

Aluksi luulin että pikkuisen tuntosarvet olivat katkenneet, mutta hahmo onkin vain kuvattu ilman paljastettuja tuntosarvia. Niin suloinen :)

At first I toughed the little guys antlers had been broken off, but it's just modeled without them exposed yet. So cute :)

Joulukuun lopetus-Closing December

No niin, kun kerran lupasin näistä postauksen..
Joulukuun kranssipostaukseen liittyen, tässä ovat nyt nämä ylimääräiset kappaleet, joita en Lupescuille hyväksynyt, jotenkin eivät vaan ole oikeanlaisia ;(

Relating to the December wreath-posting, here are now the otiose ones I didn't improve for the family. These just don't look right ;(

Normaalisti heitän tälläiset jämäkappaleet menemään, mutta kun Leena Lilith the Undying-sivulta halusi nämä välttämättä edes näkemättä niitä ensin, ajattelin, että voin kai yhtä hyvin lähettää nämä hänelle. Mukavaa, että turhillekin jutuille löytyy käyttöä :)

Normally I just throw left-overs like these away, but since Leena from Lilith the Undying
wanted these without even seeing them first, I toughed I could just send these for her.
It's always nice when the useless things turn important :)
