Turhaa samettia-Left over velvet

Penkoessani kangasvarastostani sopivaa hamekangasta löysin pienen pienen, punaisen samettitilkun, enkä raaskinut heittää sitä pois. Sitten kävi näin:

While I was seeking through my clothe-stock to find a suitable skirt-fabric I found a teeney-weeney, red velvet clipping, and for some reason just couldn't throw it away. So this happened:

Parilla tikillä valmistin siitä pienen samettityynyn. Taas.

With a couple of stitches I made a little velvet cushion of it. Again.

Talossa ei kohta ole tilaa, joten tämä pikkuinen päätyi Lupescujen parveketuoliin.

There's soon no more room in the house, so this little thing ended up on the Lupescus' balcony-chair.

Ja mummi lukee vuoteellani isoa kirjaa palmisteriasta.

And granny is reading a big book about palmistry on my bed.

Reality Lupescu?

Asun asunnossa jossa on talo sisällä. Joskus ajatus tuntuu hämmentävältä, ja olenkin monesti miettinyt, kuinka hienoa olisi päästä vierailemaan omassa nukkekodissaan.
Tai toisinpäin.. Innostuin taas leikkimään kameralla, ihan vaan vähäsen:

I live in an appartment that has a house inside it. Sometimes it feels confusing, and many times I have pondered, how wonderful would it be to visit your own dollhouse.
Or the other way around.. So, again I played with my camera, just a little:

Tuntui oudolta tuoda Lupescut ulos nukkekotimaailmasta, mutta nyt haluaisin kuvata heitä jopa ulkotiloissa ;D Jaa-a.. tuota sietääkin miettiä..

It felt so weird to bring the Lupescus' out from the dollhouse-world, but now I would love to photograph them outdoors, as well ;D Gee.. There's an idea..

Perheen pisin jäsen, Sabine näyttää kovin pieneltä pukeutumispeilini edessä.

The tallest family-member, Sabine appears so small infront of my dressing-mirror.

Vera löysi luontoa; Talvipuutarhani inkiväärikasvin.

Vera found some nature; A Ginger-plant of my winter-garden.

Kaunis Perjantai-A Beautiful Friday

Pirteä syyssää houkuttelee myös perheenjäseniä luonnonhelmaan. Mummikin keräsi kamppeensa ja lähti sienimetsään:

A frisky autumn-weather lures some family members to join outdoors. Even granny gathered her belongins and went into the woods to pick some mushrooms:

Mummi näyttää muikealta vaikkei saalis koskaan ole taattu..

Granny seems confident even the catch is never sure..

Mutta metsässä on mukavaa ja virkistävää samoilla.

But the forest is nice and refreshing place to wander.

Tulikohan saalista? Ainakin kori näyttää vielä tyhjältä..

Did she find anything? At least the basket still looks empty..
