Munakennomassaa-Egg carton pulp

Lupescun perheen kasvihuoneseen ajattelin tehdä kivilattian munakennomassasta; paperimassaa, joka tehdään munakennoista. Tein tämän massan jo Maanantaina joten sillä on ollut aikaa kuivua. Ajattelin sitten lisätä tuon massareseptinkin tänne :)

I thoughed I'd make a tile-flooring to the Lupescu family greenhouse out of egg-cartons; a paper pulp made out of egg cartons. I made the pulp at Monday already. And so I toughed I'd add that pulp-recipe here as well :)

Tarvitset:
Puolitoista kuuden munan kennoa
Vettä
Erikeeperiä
Blenderin tai sauvasekoittimen

You'll need:
A one and a half egg carton
Some water
Erikeeper-glue or some other, non-toxic, general purpose craft-glue
A blender

-Silppua munakennot käsin pieniksi paloiksi.
-Lisää hieman lämmintä vettä, anna imeytyä kunnes palaset pehmenevät.
-Kaada vesi blenderiin, laita sekaan puolet munakennosilpusta, sekoita tahnaksi.
-Kaada tahna kulhoon, ja kaada vesi varoen siitä takaisin blenderiin.
-Lisää loppu kennosilppu, lisää tarvittaessa vettä, ja sekoita tahnaksi. Kaada kulhoon.
-Liian vetistä massaa voi puristella käsissä kuivemmaksi, mutta massa saa jäädä pehmeäksi.
-Lisää n.1/2 dl Erikeeperiä.

-Shred the egg cartons by hand into tiny pieces.
-Add some warm water, and let the shreds absorbe water until they turn soft.
-Pour the water into a blender, add the half of egg-carton shreads, and blend it into a soft mush.
-Pour the mush into a bowl and pour the water from it carefully back into a blender.
-Add the rest of the shreds, and add water if necessary, and blend into a soft mush. Pour it into a bowl.
-If the pulp is too moist, you can squeeze some water off it by hands, still, the pulp should remain soft.
- Add about 1/4 cup of glue.

-Sekoita käsin tasaiseksi massaksi, levitä leivinpaperin päälle uunipellille (tai vastaavalle, liikuteltavalle alustalle).

-Mix by hand into a paper pulp and pat it into a flat sheet on the sheet pan (or something simular) covered with parchment paper.

-Kuivata kevyen painon alla. Kuivuu noin viikossa, tosin kuivumista voi nopeuttaa esim. Kuivaamalla massaa kuuman uunin päällä.

-Let it dry under a light weight. Dryes up about in a week, even you can speed up the process by placing the sheetpan on the hot oven.

-Valmista massalevyä voi leikata saksilla, maalata, ja hioa hiekkapaperilla.

-You can cut the dryed up sheet by scissors, paint it, and sand it with sandpaper.
