I felt like modelling again, and found the package of this Das-mass of HobbyPoint. The package was originaly tighter, but this one I allready opened:

Paketti maksoi jotain kuusi euroa, eli ihan edullista. Massan pitäisi kovettua huoneenlämmössä n.vuorokaudessa, ja muistuttaa paperimassaa.

The mass costed about six euros, so it was quite inexpensive. This pulp should solidify at a room-temperature in about twenty-four hours, and it's quite alike paper pulp.
Kuivuttuaan muuttuu valkoisemmaksi kuin kuvan vielä kostea massa. Massa muuten haiskahtaa todella oudolle, näin miinuksena mainittakoon. Ihan helppoa tuota oli muovailla, kokemusta paperimassan työstämisestä tosin on entuudestaan. Massa totteli ihan perus savenmuotoiluun tarkoitettuja työkalupuikkoja. Katsotaan nyt miten minun pikkuiset kuivuvat ja onnistuvat (siksi en vielä laita itse tekeleistä mitään kuvia). Jotain astioita ehkä voisi kokeilla tai vastaavaa. Lattialaatathan tuosta syntyisi vaivatta, kun olisi tajunnut.. no, joku toinen kerta sitten ;) Huomisiin..
After drying this turnes even whiter than the moist mass in the picture. As a bad quality I should mention, the pulp smells very weird. I used some basic clay-modelling tools with Das-mass, and it was quite easy to model, all though I've done some paper pulp modelling before. Let's wait and see how my little ones come up with after they dry (that's why I'm not posting any photos of them yet). I might try making some pots and dishes of that. And some floor-tiles would be easy to make out of that, if I just realized that earlier.. well, some other time then ;) Till timorrow..
