Helmileilejä-Bead flagons

Löysin HobbyPointista mielenkiintoisia helmiä, ja niistä syntyikin pieniä rohdospulloja. Oli niin kiva askartelu, että laitan tuon ohjeenikin tähän :)

I found some interesting looking beads from HobbyPoint, and made some tiny potion-bottles out of 'em. It was so much fun I decited to post you the instructions as well :)

Eksyi vähän vanhojakin helmiä joukkoon.. Eli, vaikka kenttäpulloja ja taskumatteja voi tällä tehdä. Tarvitaan:

Some of these beads are newer, some are elder.. Still, you can make flagons and flasks with this instruction. You'll need:

Korupiikkejä (joissa lenkki kannan sijasta), ohutta ketjua, isot päähelmet, jotain keskikokoisia helmiä pullonkaulaksi, ja pieniä korkiksi. Lisäksi korupihdit ja sivuleikkurit.

1- Pujota helmet järjestyksessä iso, keskikokoinen, pieni, korupiikkiin, taita ylimääräinen häntä korupihdeillä sivuun ja katkaise liika pois:

Some metal jewellery spikes (the kind with a loop at the end), a necklace-chain, some larger beads for the belly of the flask, some medium-sized beads for the bottleneck and some tiny ones for the cork. You also need a needle-nose pliers and wirecutters.

1- String the beads in the order of size; big, medium, and small into a spike and bend the rest of it aside. Cut the extra part off with cutters:

2-Taivuta ylimääräisestä osasta lenkki, pujota koruketju lenkkiin ja purista kiinni:

2-Make a loop of the remaining end of a spike, string in the necklace and close the loop.

3- Katkaise ketju sopivan pituiseksi, ja avaa vähän pohjaan jäävää lenkkiä. Pujota ketjun toinen pää sinne. Purista lenkki kiinni:

3-Cut the necklace into a proper lenght, and open up a little bit the loop in the bottom of a big bead. String the other end of necklace-chain there and close the loop:

And presto:

Näyttää jotenkin antiikkiselta, vaikka itse sanonkin, nuo helmet oli ihan must-ostos :)

Looks kinda vintage, even I do say so myself. I just had to buy those beads the minute I saw 'em :)
