Lennart ja Kummitus

Toiseksi viimeisessä esittelyvuorossa ovat siis ullakon asukkaat. Ensimmäinen heistä on Lupescun perheen kotikummitus, joka hänkin todennäköisesti on joku sukulainen:
Almost the last ones to be introduced are the folks in the attic. First of them is propably of some relation of the Lupescu family, their very own ghost:

Nuken tarina:
Kummituskin on sellainen "kokeilenpa tällaista" -askartelu. Kummitus menee ensimmäisten hahmojen joukkoon, sillä eikös hyvän ullakon kavalkaadiin kuulu myös kummitus? Hahmosta tuli vähän tahattomasti tuollainen bansheen-näköinen.. Nukke on valmistettu serlapaperista ja Erikeeperistä. Harsot ovat paloja rikkinäisestä huivista ja höyhenistä. Hiukset revittyä villalankaa ja kaulakoru/kahleet vanhasta kaulakorustani.

Story of this doll:
The ghost is also one of those "Hey, let me try this.." -test crafts. It gets categorized with my first characters, cause there is a ghost in every true-attic, isn't there? And it wasn't intentional to make this figure look like a banshee, sorry about it.. This doll is made out of household towels and glue, basically. Veils are from my shredded scarf and gray feathers. Doll's wig is made from ripped yarn, and it's necklace/shackles from my old necklace.

Kummituksen Tarina:
Kummitus on pääasiassa ullakolla viihtyvä salaperäinen hahmo, joka toistaiseksi on pitänyt henkilöllisyytensä salassa. Mistä ja milloin kummitus ilmaantui kummittelemaan, on niin ikään hämärän peitossa. Ehkä vintillä lojuvalla Ouija-laudalla on osuutta asiaan? Kummituksen tarina herättää kiinnostusta jo siitäkin syystä, että mielestäni hahmo on selkeästi hääpuvussa. Kummitus näyttäytyy harvoin kellekään perheenjäsenelle, tähän mennessä vain mummi ja Evan ovat nähneet sen. Ullakolla usein hiirestävä Victor on tälle haamulle ilmeisen mieleistä seuraa, samoin kuin katto-orrella paikkansa pitävä Lennart-lepakko.

A ghost's story:
The ghost is the mysterious, etheric character, who mainly stays in the attic, and even I don't know who she once was. From where and when did the ghost appear to haunt the house, nobody knows. Maybe the Ouija-board in the attic has something to do with that? I found the ghost's story interesting for many reasons, for one; Don't you think she's wearing a wedding gown or what? Ghost rarely shows herself to anyone, this far only Granny and Evan have seen her. Ghost seems to like the house cat; Victor, who often comes to catch mice in the attic. Lennart the bat is also keeping her company.

Pari sanaa Lennartista:
Pikku-lepakko on valmistettu piipunrassista ja vanusta. Siivet ompelin vahvikekankaasta jonka jälkeen silitin ne rungon päälle. Orsi on tehty grillitikusta.

Few words about Lennart:
This little bat is made out of pipe-cleaners and cotton wool. Wings I sewed out of glue-fabric, and then ironed it up. The rafter I made from a bamboo barbeque-stick.
