Lisää tekstiilejä-More Textiles

Joo, tein ompelukokeiluja jämäpaloilla, joissa oli pienikuvioisia yksityiskohtia. Tällaisia siis syntyi tällä kertaa:

Right, I made some sewing-tests with left-over clippings that had some small-patterned details on. This is how they appeared like:

Näyttävät matoilta tai ryijyiltä? Liian paksuja pöytäliinoiksi. Tuosta pienestä teen varmaan pöytäliinan mummille, muista en tiedä. Värit eivät oikein miellytä, eli menevät varmaan seuraavaan värjäyserään :)

They look like carpets or rugs? Too thick to be table--cloths. Even I toughed I'd make a table-cloth for granny of that little piece, I'm not sure what to with the rest. Those colors are kinda lame, so I think I'll put them in a dye-laundry the next time :)

Maanantai Moi! -Monday Hi!

Eli täällä taas, tulikin pidempi tauko väliin, hups.. Vietin eilispäivän ompelukoneen ääressä, ja ompelun lomassa syntyi jotain uutta taas nukkikseenkin:

Right, I'm back after a longer break, oops.. I spend yesterday by sewing, and there I made something for the dollhouse again, too:

Jämäpaloista syntyi pari peitettä. Pieni kisupeitto, ja vähän isompi täkki.
Kangas alkaa näyttää jo ikävästi tutulta, eikö ;D

Of left-over clippings I made a couple of blankets. A smaller kitty-blanket and a bigger quilt.
The fabric starts to seem oddly familiar, doesn't it ;D

Taustapuolelle tikkasin lisää jämäpaloja.. En tiedä vielä mihin laittaa nämä, mutta kai näille paikka löytyy :)

I stitched some more left-overs on the back.. I'm not sure where toput these yet, but I'm sure they found their place, too :)

Helmikuista vihreää-February green

Aikaisemmin esittelemäni oksanpätkät saivat vähän lehtiä ylleen, ja melkein tämä jo muistuttaa pientä hedelmäpuuta:

The twigs I introduced earlier got some leaves on them, and now it allmost appears as a small fruit-tree:

Tämä on siis vielä keskeneräinen, tuota juuripalaa pitää vielä tuunata enemmän maan näköiseksi. Kivi tuossa on siis toistaiseksi vastapainona.
Tästä voisi tulla kiva omena- tai sitruunapuu :)

This is not all doneyet, I need to fixt the root-part to make it look more.. groundish (is that even a word?). The stone there is just a weight for now.
I think this would make a nice apple- or lemontree :)

Kynänteroitin-A pencil sharpener

Nukkisrintamalla on ollut nyt vähän hiljaisempaa, mutta kirpputorikierrokselta löytyi jälleen jotain:

Pienen gramofonin :)

It's a little gramophone :)

Esine on oikeasti kynänteroitin, vasemmalla sivulla on kolo kynälle, joka teroitetaan kääntämällä kampea. Levylautanen pyörii samalla.

This figurine is actually a pencil sharpener, there's a hole on the left side to put the pencil in. By reeling the crank the pencil sharpens and the disk spins around.

Kaiutintorvi ei valitettavasti ole liikkuvaa sorttia, mutta minusta tämä oli hieno löytö :)
Maalasin jo vähän metalliosia mustalla maalilla.

The "speaker" does'nt move, too bad, but I think this looks nice :)
I allready painted the metal-parts withs some black paint.
