Terveisiä markkinoilta-Greetings from a Fair

Kyllä vain, tungoksesta huolimatta Wednesday pääsi elävänä kotiin. Oli paljon kaikenlaista, rahat tuntuivat vaan loppuvan, eli seuraavaa tiliä odotellessa voisin hakea ne paljonpuhutut köyhäilyperunat ;D
Mutta joo, tässä siis markkinasatoa, mm. huonekaluja:

Oh jeah, even with the enormous crowd and all Wednesday get home alive. It was so much to see and buy I started to ran so short by dough, I should probably buy some of poor-off-potatoes with the rest ;D
But still, here's the findings from the Doll- and Teddybear-Fair, like furniture:

..joista kaikki eivät vielä mahtuneet taloon.. Pieni musta hyllykkö olisi omiaan Sabinelle, katsotaan, minne se mahtuu. Ihania antiikkikalusteita löysin, tuosta pienimmästä en osaa sanoa onko kyseessä pöytä vai penkki, mutta kukkapöydäksi aivan passeli :)
Sänky oli valtavan hieno löytö, tuo kun on päistä vedettävää mallia, kuten wanhan hyvänajan vastaavat. Heti tuon nähtyäni tiesin että oli pakko ostaa mummille uusi vuode. Sänky taisikin olla arvokkain ostamani esine, mutta hyvään tarkoitukseen..
Myyjien nimiä en valitettavasti muista, kun vähän huonosti tunnen nukkekotipiirejä :(
Ihania astioita:

..Which didn't even fit the house yet.. The little black shelf would be great for Sabine, let's where I can fit it. Lovely antiques I found, I'm not that sure about the little one, if it's a desk or a seat, but it would make a beautifull plant-desk at least :)
That bed was an awesome finding, it can be pulled to make it taller, like the beds in the good old days used to. Soon as I saw that, I knew it was going to be a new bed for granny. Guess the bed was the most priceless thing I boughed, but for the good cause..
Unfortunately I can't remember the names of any sellers, since I'm not that familiar with the dollhousers-posse ;(
Some lovely dishes:

Kultalautanen (posliinia), metallikannu ja posliinikannu (Reutter) löytyivät samalta myyjältä. Yöastia oli myös hieno löytö, ottaen huomioon että Lupescun talossa on entuudestaan vasta yksi.. Pikku pikarit olivat odottamaton (ja mahtava) pakko-ostos, olen metsästänyt mokomia jo monta vuotta, nyt saa perheen teepöytä täydennystä ;)
Kaikenlaista muuta pikkutavaraa löytyi myös:

The gold-plate (porcelain), the metal-jug and the porcelain-jug (of Reutter) were found from the same seller. The chamberpot was a nice finding, since there already is only one in the house.. The tiny goblets were quite an unexpected (and awesome) must-have, since I've searched goblets like those for a long time, and now the Lupescu family tea-table can have more goblets ;)
All sorts of other stuff was also found:

Kaunis posliinikissa, samalta myyjältä kuin Reutterin kannu, ja lasipurkit samalta tiskiltä kuin se yöastia. Kassi ja kivat napit oli myös hauska löytö, en vielä tiedä meneekö napit askarteluun vai ompeluun :)
Puutarhatyökalut (metallia) vaativat vähän laittoa, ja saattavat mennä perheen joululahjatavaroihin. Kirja oli hieno löytö; Grimmin Veljesten "Hannu ja Kerttu" -satu. Kirja päätynee sellaisenaan vanhaan lastenhuoneeseen.
Mietin joskus että Evanille voisi sopia viulu, ja tällainen löytyikin sopivasti:

A beautifull porcelain-cat, from the same seller as the jug of Reutter, and the glass-jars from the same counter as a chamberpot. Little bag and some buttons were nice too, even I'm not sure yet if the buttons end up to crafting or sewing :)
Garden-tools (metal) need some fixing, and might just end up to family's christmas-presents pile. The book was wonderful; The Brothers Grimm fairytale "Hansel and Gretel". Book probably ends up the way it is to the old nursery.
I sometimes wondered, that violin could be suitable for Evan, and this one conveniently was found:

Vähän pieni, joo, mutta jotenkin pidän siitä siksi. Roka on vähän kummallisen näköinen, eli enköhän jotain keksi tuohonkin.. pysytään kanavalla.
Ja jos taiteilla jatketaan, tällaisia vintage-henkisiä printtejä oli haalittava muutama:

A bit small, yes, but somehow, that's the reason I loke it so. The bow was a tad weird looking, but I'll fix it somehow..just let's see.
And if we're continuing by arts, I just had to have some of these vintage-style prints:

Pienet olivat yhdessä pötkössä, leikkasin nuo erilleen. Keskimmäinen, Chat Noir -mainos on yksi aivan ultimate-lempikuvistani, eli ostan mokoman aina kun näen; jopa keittiössäni on samanlainen sisustustaulu. Isommat printit.. nooh, ihmiset, jotka minut parhaiten tuntevat hoksannevat kyllä, miksi tuo "Praha" lähti mukaan. Ja muutenkin; kauniita kuvia :)
Myös elintarvikkeita sattui haaviin:

Those smaller were all in one, I just cut them separately. The middle one, Chat Noir -brochure is one of my ultimately-favourite pictures, so I'll allways buy one I can find ; I even have the simular picture in my own kitchen. The bigger prints.. weeeel, people who know me best can probably figure out why I boughed that "Praha" -print. And still; Those pictures are beautiful :)
Some groceries were found, too:

Ruisleivät (taikataikinaa, oletan) aiheuttivat mielessä välähdyksen leipäorresta, ja päätynevät siis köökin kattoon :) Aloitin sattumalta viikonloppuna miniruokaprojektia, ja harmittelin kun ei oikein sitruunat luonnistu.. no, nythän niitä sitten löytyi. Komeita, ilmeisesti Fimo-massaa.
Vuokakakut (liina tuli mukaan) ovat henkeäsalpaavia, pakko-ostos siis :) Onpahan jouluksi jotakin.

The rye-breads (salt-dough, I presume) gave me some ideas of a bread-roost, and they'll probably end up in the kitchen ceiling :) Buy coincidence I started some minifood-project at weekend there, and couldn't really make any lemons.. well, now I found them. Gorgeus, probably made of Fimo polymere-clay. Bunt-cakes (the tablecloth included) were just breath-taking, and so a must-have :) Well, something for christmas, at least.

Tässä vielä lähikuva noista pikkuesineistä äskeisessä kuvassa; Pertille löytyi tuliaisiksi Turun Sinappia ja mummille pieni paketti kaffetta, ikäänkuin pisteeksi ii:n päälle :)

Here's a close-up of those little objects in the photo; I found some Turku-mustard to bring home to Pertti, and a package of grounded coffee for granny :)

Rottia, rottia!!-Rats, rats!!

Kuten arvattua, pitihän tuonne Tiimariin juosta vielä uudestaan, ja kyllä kannatti :)
Kaksi uutta rottaa lähti mukaan, niitä oli siellä sittenkin:

Mikäli Lupescujen kylpyhuoneessa on joskus tilaa ammeelle, tuosta saa aika hienon kylpylelun sen reunustalle, vaikka vaan näön vuoksi ;)

Olihan tuo ostettava pois kuleksimasta, muistuttaa kovasti erästä lelua joka minulla oli lapsuudessani. Voi olla että tuo päätyy lastenhuoneeseen tuollaisenaan, vain vähän saatan tuunata tuota..

I just had to buy it, it reminds me of one toy I had when I was a kid. Could be that ends up in the nursery as it is, I might tune it up just a little bit..

Söpöt pikkuiset-Adorable little guys

Tein eilen kynttiläostoksillani Tiimarista yllättäviä löytöjä; Hyllystä löytyi tällaisia sööttejä, minejä muovieläimiä:

During some candle-shopping yesturday I made some surprising findings from the Tiimari-shop; These cute, tiny plastic animal-figurines:

Köh köh, tulitikku näköjään unohtui kuvasta (mitäs intoilen), mutta tuon lepakon siipien kärkiväli on aika lähelle tulitikun mittainen. Hahmot ovat siis aitoja minejä, en yritä aprillata ketään.. Rottia olisin kahminut enemmänkin, vintille Victorille, mutten löytänyt kuin tuon yhden (höh). Sammakot olivat kertakaikkiaan niin hellyttäviä että oli pakko ostaa useampia. Menevät varmaan tuunaukseen.
Ostin myös nämä komeat hummerit, minejä niinikään:

E-hem, so, I forgot the match from the picture (enthusiastic me), but the lenght between the bats' wings is about the same as the lenght of a wider side of an average match-box. So, the figurines really are true minies, I'm not tryin to make an april-fool out of anyone.. I could have bought more rats, to the attic for Victor, but I could only found that one (bah). Those frongs were so adorable, I just had to by more than one. Let's see if I tune 'em up or not.
I also found there gorgeous lobsters, minies, as well:

Nämä todennäköisesti päätyvät perheen ruokapöytään kun ovat jo valmiiksi punaisia. Vakavasti puhuen, eikö missään myydä elävien rapujen näköisiä leikkirapuja (tai hummereita)? Miksi niiden on aina oltava keitetyn punaisia? Lelutehtailijoiden kieroutuneen näkemyksen ansiosta näiden vekkulien määränpää on siis akvaarion sijasta paistivati :l

I think these will end up on the familys' dining-table, since they're already red.
Seriously, is there any place selling toy-crabs (or lobsters) that look like real ones? Why do they allways have to be pre-cooked colored? So, because of the twisted vision of the toy-manufacturers, these happy-lads will end up on a dinner-plate instead of an aquarium :l

Messuttaa taas

No niin, no niin.. Mikäli nyt olen osannut lukea internettiä aivan oikein, vuoden 2009 Nukke- ja Nallemarkkinat olisivat nyt tulevana Sunnuntaina eikä pääsymaksukaan huimaa nupissa.
Alustavasti ollut jo ystävän kanssa puhetta, josko tuonne lähtisi kiertelemään :)
Rahatilannehan taas on vähän mitä on, mutta messuille on päästävä vaikka söisin pelkkiä perunoita kuun loppuun (näin se on arvomaailma järjestyksessä Wednesdaylla..) o__O

Aikaisemmilla markkinoilla en ole ollutkaan, eli nähtäväksi jää millaista siellä mahtaa olla. Toivotaan sentään ettei ihan hukkareissua tule ;)

Sinistä samettia?-Blue velvet?

Löytyihän talosta vielä tyynypari jota ei ole esitelty.. Nämä ovat siis kirjaston divaaniin alunperin tekemäni pikkutyynyt, ennenkuin ompelin hämähäkkipitsistä uudet :)
Siniset pikkutyynyt on ommeltu käsin sinisestä velourista, ja täytetty napakaksi vanulla. Nämä eivät ole siis kamalan pehmeitä, sellaista niskatyynytasoa.

Apparently there are still some unintroduced cushions around the house.. So, these are the old cushions of the divan in the library :)
The little blue cushions are made of blue velour, and stuffed well with cotton-wool. So these aren't as soft as you think. Kinda like a headrest.

Tyynyjen kangas on alunperin vanhasta meikkipussinraadosta, kierrätys on siis päivän sana ;)
Cloth I sewed these of is originaly from an old beauty-bag. Recycling is the word ;)

Väriliituja-Crayons

Todellakin, olihan lastenhuoneen hyllyssä vielä tällaiset väriliidut:

Indeed, there were some crayons on the shelf of the old nursery:

Liidut ovat enemmän ja vähemmän käytettyjä, ja valmistettu vanhojen puuvärikynien väriytimestä. Kynät olivat jo niin lahoja, että puuaineksen kuoriminen onnistui käsin. Rasian tein pahvista.

Crayons are made of the color-core of some colored-pencils. Pencils themself were a bit rotten already, so it was quite easy to open them up. The box I made from cardboard.

Alunperin aloin kuoria vanhoja puuvärejäni saadakseni Lupescun perheelle kyniä, ja projektista nyt jäi yli sekalaisia pätkiä, jotka laitoin yhteen.

These are actually leftovers from the original pencil-project of mine, as I tried to make some pencils for the family-members.

Satukirja-Fairytales

Lupescun perheen vanhan lastenhuoneen hyllyltä löytyy myös vanha satukirja. Kannesta ei oikein saa selvää:

On the shelf of an old nursery room of the Lupescu family house, there's also this old fairytale-book. You can hardly read the cover anymore:

Kirja löytyi jostakin näistä miljoonista printables-sivuilta, ja pitihän se tulostaa :)
Sidoin kirjan ompelulangalla, kannet tein pahvista. Liimana EriKeeperiä. Sivut ovat siis kaksipuoleisia tulosteita.
This book was originally found from one of the millions pages of free dollhouse-printables, and sure, I had to print it :)
I bind the book up with some sewind-string, and made the covers of cardboard. Glued it with EriKeeper. Pages are printed on both sides.

Deep purple

Tässä vielä nämä Evanin huoneesta löytyvät koristetyynyt; Toisen näistä esittelin jo joskus aiemmin, mutta nyt sillä on pari ja näyttävät hyviltä yhdessä :)
Päälliset siis violettia samettia, reunus lasihelmistä. Pienet kangasruusut yhden hameompeluksen ylijäämäpaloja. Täytteenä vanua.

And here as a close-up are Evan's decorative cushions; I did introduse the other one of these earlier, but now it has a pair and they look good together :)
So, these are made of purple velvet and bordered with some glass-beads. Little satin-roses are from a skirt-project of mine. Cushions are stuffed with cotton-wool.

Edelleenkin, itselleni kelpaisi samanlaiset..
Seuraava tyyny on pariton hupiompelu, joka on seikkaillut vähän ympäri taloa. Tällä hetkellä tämä löytyy siis Evanin arkun pääpohjista, Evan käyttää tätä niskatukena lukiessaan.

And I'd still like to have some pillows like those myself..
The next pillow is some lone test-sewing, and it's been around the house a quite some time now. At the moment this can be located from Evan's room.

Pillow is made of lilac-shade satin out of an old shirt and stuffed with cotton-wool.
