Varaslähtö-a Head Start

Lupescun perheelle valmistui muutamia Halloween-koristeita eikä ole vielä edes Lokakuu ;D

So, I made some Halloween-decorations to the family, and it's not even October yet ;D

Pahville liimattuja, pieniä paperihautakiviä. Kyllä näillä jo yhden pihan koristelee, vai?
Eivätkö ole suloisia? Hautakivet ovat lisäksi kaksipuoleisia.

Tiny paper-headstones glued on the cardboard. Surely you'll decorate one yard with these, right?
Aren't these adorable? The headstones are also two-sided.

Nämä ihanuudet löytyivät Ravens Blight.com:in lelukaupasta, kuten muutama muukin ilmainen printti jonka tulen esittelemään myöhemmin..

These lovely things were found of the Toy Shop of Ravens Blight.com, as well as some other free prints I'll introduce to you later on..

Karmivaa kitsiä-Creepy Kitsch

Parista jätetilkuista syntyi tällainen kummajainen Lupescun talouteen:

Koriste tyyny on valmistettu vaaleanpunaisesta pvc:stä ja mustasta tyllistä.
Tämä on niin kamala, että näyttää hyvälle ;)
Keinokuitukankaista kursitut työt päätynevät koristavaan Jennyferin vastaanottoa.

A decorative pillows is made of pink pvc and some black tulle.
This is so hiddeous it looks good ;)
All the cloth-works of synthetic fibre will end up to Jennyfer to perk up her reception.

Neuroosi?-Neurosis?

Jahah, oli sitten pakko napata vielä yksi kuva mummin noitakaapista, sillä mielestäni päähylly oli sekainen:

Sooo, I just had to shoot another photo of grandma's witch-cabinet, since I toughed the main shelf was messy:

Järjestin siis ison kaapin uusiksi; Yrtit ja kirjat alahyllyllä, ja kaikki muu ylhäällä. Nyt kaapista löytää helpommin etsimänsä ;)

And I re-organized the whole big cabinet; Herbs and books below, and all the other stuff above. Now it's easier to find what you're looking for of the cabinet ;)

Isoäidin Kaappi-Grandma's Cabinet

Kuten Evanin kirjahylly, toinen tavaroiden aarreaitta talossa on mummin taikakaappi:

Kun ensi kertaa esittelin tämän HobbyPointista löytämäni kaapin, olin vain täyttänyt sen malliksi sekalaisilla tavaroilla, jotta yleiskuva tulisi paremmin esiin. Tämä siis on valmis versio, ja kaappi on täynnä mummin tavaroita.

The first time I introduced a cabinet I bought from HobbyPoint, I just filled it up with some misc. stuff to model how it would look like when it's done. So this is the finished version and the cabinet is filled with granny's belongings.

Syyspäivän Tasaus-Autumn Equinox

Aurinko paistaa, ja ilmassa on vahva saapuvan syksyn tuntuma.

The sun is shining, and you can really feel the autumn arriving.

Tänään en postaile sen kummempia, vaan nautiskelen pirtsakasta säästä ja juhlistan vaihtuvaa vuodenaikaa. Suosittelen kaikille pientä kävelyretkeä luonnon helmassa, nauttikaa alkusyksyn auringonsäteistä. Yällä voimmekin ihailla kirkasta täysikuuta ;)

So I won't be posting much today, instead I'll enjoy the perky weather and celabrate the season changing. I'll recommend a little walk in the nature for everyone, enjoy the sunlight of the autumns first days. At night we have a chance to gaze at the bright full moon ;)

Kolmannen kerroksen ihmissudet-Werewolves of 3rd floor

Ihmissusitaulu pääsi näkyvälle paikalle kolmannen kerroksen eteistilaan:

Kylpyhuoneen oven yläpuolelle.. Mielestäni tämä tarvitsisi paremman käytäväpaikan, mutta tilan puutteessa on vaikea valittaa.
Above the bathroom-door.. I think this would need some better place, but since I'm short on space it's hard to complain.

Ihana kuva, ja hyvin Lupescu-henkinen myös :) Omallekin seinälleni moisen huolisin.

What a lovely picture it is, and very Lupescu-like, too :) I would have this on my own appartment as well.

Viikko sitten valmistunut avainteline sai paikan eteisestä, komeron yläpuolelta:

Ei mikään terävin kuva, mutta selvää saa.. Kukka-asetelma pöydällä antaa huoneelle kaivattua keveyttä ja kodikasta tunnelmaa :)

Not the sharpest picture, but it figures.. A flower-arrangement on the table gives the room some well-deserved lightness and cozyness :)

Valkoiset nuppuruusut, jotka sain Annevelta swapissa, taipuivat eilen illalla kukka-asetelmaan:

Last night the white rose-buds I got from Anneve shaped into a flower-arrangement:

Tästä tuli niin kiva että ajattelin laittaa taas yhden tutorialin tänne :) Siis, nukkekodin kukka-asetelmaan tarvitaan:

Minikukkia sekä sekalaisia muovikasvinosia, ruukun (käytin tähän hiushoitoainepullon korkkia), sekä jonkin minitavaran koristeeksi.
Lisäksi tarvitaan liimaa, talouspaperisuikale, hiekkaa tai pieniä kiviä, sekä katkaisu- ja askartelupihdit.

This turned out nice, so I toughed I'd post another tutorial here :) So, to make a flower-arrangement for your dollhouse you'll need:

Miniature-flowers and misc. plastic-plant parts, a pot (I used a hairbalsam-bottle cap here), and some mini-item as a decoration.
You'll also need glue, a paper-towel strip, some sand or gravel, wire-cutters and needle-nose pliers.

-Leikkaa pihdeillä kukkien varret sopivan pituisiksi, ja taivuta osa varsista kahtia.

-Use the wirecutters to cut the stems of the flowers, and bend some of the stems in half.

-Rullaa kukat liimaa apuna käyttäen talouspaperisuikaleen sisään, ja muotoile ja lytistä tyveä sormin halutun näköiseksi.

-Roll the flowers with glue into a paper-towel strip, and shape and flat it by hands a bit as you like.

-Liimaa vähän soraa ruukun pohjalle painoksi, ja aseta kukkarypäs ruukkuun. Täytä tyhjät kohdat joko kivillä tai talouspaperin paloilla.
-Sipaise vähän liimaa koristeenpohjaan, ja aseta koriste ruukkuun, ei ihan kukkien keskelle.
Leikkaa muovikasvinosista sopivia paloja, kuten lehtiä tai juuria, tms. ja liimaa ne kukkien juurelle.
-Anna liimauksien kuivua rauhassa.

-Glue some gravel on a bottom of the pot to make it heavier, and place the bunch of flowers in. Fill the empty spots with gravel or paper-towel bits.
-Put some glue on the bottom of the decorative and place it into pot, not exactly on the center.
Cut some materials, like leaves or roots, etc. off the plastic-plant parts, and glue them on the base of flowers.
-Let the glue dry.

-Lopuksi voit korupihdeillä taivutella kukkia, kihartaa kärhiä tai juuria, lisätä koristeita, jne.

-Finaly you can bend the flowers a bit with the needle-nose pliers, curl some tendrils or roots, add some decorations, etc.

Syötyäni keitettyä riisiä lautaselle oli jäänyt pari jyvää jotka olivat kuivuneet lautasella yön yli. Minilamppuni syttyi samantien ;) Kun jälleen keitin riisiä, otin muutaman jyvän talteen, kuivumaan leivinpaperin päälle.
Pienellä tipalla mustaa kynsilakkaa tekee jo ihmeitä:

After I ate some cooked rice, a couple of rice-kernels were left on the plate and had dried up over the night. I had a miniature-idea at once ;) After I cooked some rice after that, I took a couple of rice-kernels aside, and dried them up on a greaseproof-paper.
With a tiny drop of black nailpolish one can make wonders:

Pikku toukat päätyivät lasipurkkiin, etiketin tein palasta kierrätyspaperia.

Little maggots ended up in a glass-jar, I made the label of piece of recycled paper.

Todennäköisesti päätyvät Mummulle tai Jennyferille, toukkia kun on käytetty haavainfektioiden hoitoon.

Most likely these will end up to Granny or Jennyfer, after all, maggots have been used to heal wound infections.

Once again I framed a new picture for the family, and this is one of my favourites, as well :)
This french drawing from the 18th-century presents some of Normandy werewolves gathering at the wall of the graveyard.

Missä avaimeni ovat?- Where are my keys?

Eilen illalla siis valmistui paikka jossa Lupescut voivat säilyttää avaimiaan. Ihan kaappia siitä ei tullut, pelkkä naulakko vain :)

So, yesterday I made a place for the Lupescus to place their keys at. It did'nt quite turn into a cupboard, than it did as a rack :)

Materiaaleina käytin puulusikoita, hammastikkuja, helmiä ja EriKeeperiä. Sitten maalasin valmiin naulakon akryyli- sekä pienoismallimaaleilla.

As a materials I used wooden spoons, toothpics, beads and some EriKeeper-glue. Then I paited it up with some acrylic- and email paints.

Lopuksi lakkaa pintaan. Lakka näyttää todella kiiltävälle kuvissa, vaikka olikin aika mattapintaista?

And finally I put some laq on. Sure looks shiny, even the laq was quite mat?

Hyvin sopivat avaimet :)
Kaksi maalaamatonta prototyyppiä tämäkin projekti poiki, ehkä kokeilen tehdä vielä ihan ovellisen avaintensäilytyspaikan..

Keys fit in just nicely :)
This project left me two unpainted prototypes, so maybe someday I'll try to make a keyrack with the door..

I did some foundings during the weekend; something I've been looking for:

Pieniä isoja koruavaimia :) Olen jo pidempään miettinyt jonkinlaista avainkaappia perheelle, koska onhan heillä rutkasti oviakin. Näillä homman saa jo hyvin alulle.

Little big jewellery-keys :) I've been thinking for a long time now, that I should built some sort of a key-cabinet for the family, since they have a lot of doors. I guess these should make a nice stary.

Mitäs nämä muovikipot on? Avaimet olivat kolmilokeroisessa muovikotelossa, ja näistä lokeroista Jennyfer saa itselleen käteviä lääketieteellisiä kippoja.

So, what are these plastic cups, then? Well, the keys were in a three-parted plastic cover, and these parts will make some exellent, plastic, medical-dishes for Jennyfer.

Yep, Fox "Spooky" Mulder (The X-Files) had the same poster at his office.
Hopefully, owning a poster like that doesn't decrease Jennyfers credibility ;)

These are old prints, but I toughed I'd make something up with them.

Bramin linna-juliste päätynee Evanille, ufo-juliste parin plakaatin ohella Jennyferille.

I think the poster of Bram's castle goes to Evan, and the ufo-poster to Jennyfer among those others.

This candelabrum can be found on the bookshelf of Evan:

Kynttilänjalka on ostettu alunperin HobbyPointista, ja kynttilät tuohon tein itse sulattamalla kakkukynttilöitä.

This candelabrum is originally bought from the HobbyPoint -store, and I made the candles by myself, melting up some birthdaycake-candles.

Many of the items in the bookshelf I have introduced earlier, and since the minibook-crafting-mania (what a long word) Evan had himself some books, as well:

Kirjat eivät ole avattavaa sorttia, vaan liimattu pahville.

The books cannot be opened, they're glued on the cardboard.

Kirjoilla on tottakai myös taustat :)

And books of course have backs, too :)

Kukkopilli-Clay bird-whistle

Tämä siis on jo vanhempi massailu, mutta sain tämän nyt viimeisteltyä:

So, this is an old clay-work, but now I made it ready:

Savikukko siis terrakotta-massaa, jota esittelin aikaisemmin.

The clay-bird is made of the terracotta-clay I introduced earlier.

Ja maalia pintaan.. Lapsuuteni kukkopilli oli samanvärinen, joten päätin kokeilla :)
Pikku kukko siis jäljittelee perinteisiä kukkopillejä joita voi ostaa mm. markkinoilta.

All it needed was some paintjob.. One bird-whistle of my childhood was the same colored, so I toughed I'd try :)
So, this little rooster is immitating traditional clay bird-whistles one can buy from a fair, for example.

Pikku pullo-Little bottle

Huomenia :) Pieni, liila helmi, jonka sain edellisessä swapissa Malakoffien Annevelta, muutti muotoaan:

Good mornings :) The little, lilac bead I got from the latest swap with Anneve of the Malakoffs, was re-shaped:

Helmestä tuli rohtopullo. Korkkina hammastikun pää.

The bead turned into a potion-bottle. As a cork there's a tip of a tooth-pick.

Etiketissä ukonsieniä.. mitä lienee sisällä pullossa ;) Etiketti on joku sekalainen kuva.
Taitaa olla turha sanoakaan, että tämä päätyy mummille?
