Kirjaviikko?- A book-week?

Tietysti, lisää kirjoja. Näitä vaan on niin hauska tehdä :)

Tällä kertaa kirjat ovat suomalaisia, ja ehkä joku ne tunnistaakin?

At this time the books are finnish, and maybe someone recognises them?

Tätä menoa perheen on todellakin aika hankkia uusia kirjahyllyjä.. ja tilavampi kirjasto ;)

If this goes on, the family really needssome new bookshelfs.. and more spacious library ;)

Printtejä ja piirustelua-Prints and drawings

Yhä vain paperiaskarteluja.. Tällä kertaa valmistui baskilaista noitaa esittävästä printistä tehty maalaus sekä pino mystisen näköisiä pergamenttejä.

Still I'm papercrafting.. At this time there's painting made of a print of a basque-witch and some mystical-looking parchments.

Pergamentit valmistettu revityistä pikku paperiarkeista jotka värjäsin liottamalla niitä kahvi-kurkumavedessä. Lopuksi poltin niiden reunoja sytkärillä kun ne vielä olivat kosteita.

I made the parchments of ripped little papers I dyed by soaking them into a coffee-turmenicwater. Finally I burned the edges with a lighter while they were still moist.

Pergamentit on kirjoitettu mustalla kuulakärkikynällä.

I wrote on the parchments with a black ball-point pen.

Seitsemän-Seven

No niin, lisää kirjoja, kuten lupasin. Tästä tuli aavistuksen verran synkempi setti, mutta kirjoja aina tarvitaan :)

So, more books as I promised. These became more darker shade of a set, but who doesn't need books :)

Tästä löytyy ehkä Evanille tai mummille hyllyntäytettä.

Maybe these are for Evan or for Granny.

Kirjamania jatkuu-Book mania continues

Taisin taas innostua.. Minikirjat ovat niin ihania että on vaikea lopettaa niiden valmistus, ja näin kävi:

I guess I got a little bit exited.. Miniature books are so adorable that is difficult to just quit making them, and this is what happened:

Lisää kirjoja! Nämä on tehty pahville liimaus tekniikalla, joten eivät ole avattavia.

More books! I mede these just by glueing paper on the cardboard so these don't open up.

Mutta takakannet löytyy :) Tekstit ovat todellasuudessa artikkeleja mini-sanomalehtiprinteistä, mutta istuvat kuin nenä naamaan. Huomenna mahdollisesti lisää kirjoja..

But there are backcovers :) Backcover-texts are actually articles of mini newspaper-prints, but they fit like a glove. Tomorrow I'll proably post some more books..
