Sabine Cuza

Aloitankin perheen esittelyn (loogisesti?) ensimmäisellä hahmollani, kun hänet olen jo maininnut pari kertaa (En tiedä mistä keksin nuo nimet, se vaan alkaa pyöriä päässä itsepäisesti, ja sitten on vaan annettava periksi ja nimetä nukke sillä nimellä). Hän on siis Lupescun perheen vanhimman pojan vaimo, Ms. Sabine Cuza:

I'll start introducing my dollhouse-family with the first charcter, since I've mentioned her a couple of times allready. (And I really don't know where I come up with their names, it just gets stuck in my head until I decide to give it to the doll) So, she is Ms. Sabine Cuza, the wife of the oldest son in the family:

Nuken Tarina:

The story of this doll:
Originaly she was a mini-barbie doll found from a flea-market near by. Doll only cost a couple of euros, so it was quite cheap for my tuning experiment. She went through a rough makeover; I plucked off her original blond hair, and cut off her arms and legs so I could make her some movable joints. I also washed off her original, print-on face and even carved holes on her head for eyes. New eyes are white glass-beads I painted. New wig I cut from my own head and the dolls make-up is acrylic-paint. Her clothes I sewed myself. I just love making babydoll-dresses to this one, she's just so adorably slender.

Nykyinen piti kuitenkin paikkansa.

I never thought Sabine would ever actually move into my dollhouse, after all, she is a bit unproportionate and quite tall for a woman. First I tought to put this barbie-project aside and focus on the actual family-members of the house, as the better version of Sabine, too, but the original just wouldn't step aside and kept her status on, no matter what.
  Sabinen Tarina:
Sabinen tarina nitoutuu aika tiiviisti toisen aloittamani nukkeprojektin ympärille.

Sabine's Story:
Her story kinda goes hand-in-hand with this other doll-project I started. Sabine lived her first days on the windowsill in the middle of some random diaramas. As I started making a new doll, it's materials ran out (oops) :( So I made a little arm chair out of cardboard for the torso-doll, where he sat a couple of weeks with Sabine by his side as a practical nurse. She found herself quite fond to this crippled, untalkative gentleman, served him coffee, and lit his cigarettes. Too bad I don't have any photographs from those days, those really were the times :) After the new doll finally had his legs and eyes attached, he wouldn't let go of this odd barbie, who was cut all over by a blade of an unskilled surgeon. Instead, he married her. The ceremony was very unofficial, that's why there aren't any photos of it either. And so did Sabine move in the Lupescu-house.
